Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Please join us on Tuesday January 28th at 4:30pm for the GCAO's Annual General Meeting. Cocktails and food will be served from 4:30 on, and our guest speaker, Elise Teitler from ODACC, will give a presentation at 5:30pm on adjudications in Ontario today.

ELISE TEITLER

Elise is currently the Director of ODACC (Ontario Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts) and CanDACC (Canada Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts) and Manager of ADR Services at ADR Chambers.  In her years as a practicing lawyer, she was both a commercial litigator at a downtown Toronto law firm and held positions as in-house counsel for a large television broadcaster and a software company.   As a litigator, she appeared in court to litigate corporate commercial matters and worked in the communications area. She has been involved in many commercial settlement negotiations to bring resolution to various disputes.

Elise joined ADR Chambers in November, 2020 as Project Manager of ODACC and took on other roles in the various dispute resolution portfolios ADR Chambers manages.

Elise earned her L.L.B.  from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1990 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992.  Elise completed undergraduate studies at McGill University and has also studied at Columbia University and the University of Oxford.
